"PPCM Awareness Day Is Everyday"
We promote & fight for healthy pregnancies.
PPCM Fund Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded by PPCM survivors dedicated to saving unsuspecting mothers and their families from Peripartum Cardiomyopathy. PPCM is a pregnancy induced heart failure; a relatively unknown yet deadly heart disease surrounding new mothers. We are on a mission to implement systems, spread awareness and further research & aid in the prevention of Peripartum Cardiomyopathy as well as provide support to the families that have been deeply affected as a result of PPCM. We spread awareness in order to save lives!
No mother needs to die, no child needs to be motherless.
THERE IS A PRACTICAL SOLUTION
TO THIS PPCM PROBLEM
We Fight Against PPCM
"The Silent Killer"
"Early Diagnosis Saves Lives"
A key part of our mission is to raise the standard Screening, Testing and Labs with Implementing "during and after pregnancy"
Providing the NT-pro BNP Test, BPN Test & an EKG/Echo
Demand an EKG/Echocardiogram in her 3rd Trimester.
All NEEDS to be mandatory in every OBGYN/Birthing Professional offices for ALL Pregnancies & know the heart & EF%
The Pro B-Type natriuretic peptide (NT-pro BNP) & EKG can save lives with early diagnosis!
"Take action against Pregnancy Induced Heart-Failure"
Shockingly, we have found that big-name institutions such as "ACOG" (The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) DOES NOT support PPCM-Peripartum Cardiomyopathy in regards:
PREGNANCY, DELIVERY, POSTPARTUM CARE, WOMEN'S HEALTH, PROCEDURES. AND PATIENT EDUCATION .
HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?
Lack of Awareness is life threatening...
